The Sanaaq Center is a living territory that transgresses the boundaries of traditional cultural and community centers by promoting "collective fabrication" through creation and sharing. Simultaneously accessible and innovative, mainstream and cutting-edge, warm and radical, low-tech and high-tech, the center is a laboratory for public innovation. The interior architecture of the project expresses the plurality of the neighborhood through an irregular and decentralized spatial mosaic. The Agora serves as a link between all activities, showcasing a "digital cloud" of screens, projections, and sound systems for information dissemination, as well as becoming an extension of the Exhibit Hall. The Cafe, located at the corner of Sussex Street and Place Henri-Dunant, has an Express Library. The Culinary Laboratory is for experimentation, knowledge-sharing, and community cooking. The Performance Hall features flexible staging and variable lighting and sound configurations. The Library is organized around a central mezzanine, and the Medialab is a multi-functional space displaying the center's technological signature. The project's integration of gardens and delegation of support functions to the center enhances the experiential dialogue between the natural and artificial.
